Mike Diross Licensed Dope Dealer

Mike has a license from the Arizona Department that allows him to legally sell illegal drugs. Please don't call Mike a criminal because it's all legal because of some weird laws passed in Arizona.

Of course Mike has never sold any dope in modern times because it's illegal and he would be jailed by the government goons in charge of enforcing the governments drug war.

On July 1, 1983 the State of Arizona passed laws requiring dope dealers who sell illegal drugs to get a dope dealers license which costs $100. Arizona was the first state in the nation to require criminals to get a business license and this law got a lot of publicity.

This Arizona law also required dope dealers to purchase tax stamps and place them on any illegal drugs they sold. The state sold marijuana tax stamps for $10 an ounce and hard drug stamps for $100 an ounce if I remember correctly.

The intent of this law was not to assure that users of illegal drugs in Arizona could purchase high quality drugs at low prices but to allow the State of Arizona to seize the homes, bank accounts, vehicles, and property of any one the government considered a criminal with out requiring the State of Arizona to put the person on trial and convict them of a crime in a court of law.

The State of Arizona assumed that most dope dealers would not obey the law and get the required dope dealers license. In that case the civil laws kicks in which allows Arizona to seize all the assets of people they feel are dope dealers with out putting them on trial and convicting them of a crime.

In 1995 Mike Diross registered with the Arizona Department of Revenue and became a licensed dope dealer. He used P.O. Box 552 in Manhattan Beach, California 90266 as his mailing address because he didn't want to given an Arizona address where he could be harmed by Arizona government goons.

Mike Diross also purchased about $100 worth of the Arizona Department of Revenue Marijuana Tax Stamps which he intended to sell to stamp collectors.

In 1995 an enginner who works for Allied Signal named Peter Wilson (not related to a former California Governor with the same name) got arrested for selling marijuana and as his defense said he had every right to sell marijuana because he was a licensed dope dealer in Arizona and because he affixed the one ounce marijuana tax stamp on each ounce bag of pot he sold.

Things started out looking real good. The judge in the Justice Court where Peter was first taken to ruled that if Peter had a dope dealers licensed issued by the state the government could not arrest him for dealing dope ( http://www.ndsn.org/JAN96/ARIZONA.html").

But then I think Rick Romley decided to try Peter a second time for the crime which I consider unconstitional and tried Peter in Arizona Criminal Court system.

Peter Wilson got screwed in his trial by the government. The government would not allow Peter to show the jury his license that was issued by the Arizona Department of Revenue that made him a licensed Arizona dope dealer. The state of Arizona also removed the marijuana tax stamps from the bags of pot Peter sold and would not allow Peter to show the Arizona Marijuana Tax Stamps he had placed on the pot he sold to the jury.

Sadly Pete Wilson lost his case and the goverment of Arizona jailed him, took his home, and I think he lost his children as a result of this case.

But this scared the State of Arizona because based on a U.S. Supreme Court case in 1994 ( Department of Revenue of Montana v. Kurth Ranch ). if the case was appealed the appeals court would probably rule that anyone issued a dope dealers license by the State of Arizona has the right to sell illegal drugs with out fearing arrest by the government because the state has issued them the dope dealers license.

The State of Arizona passed a law repealing the licenses of all registered dope dealers in Arizona.

Mike was angry because the government goons didn't give him a refund on the unused months in his license.
